Work is due to start on the 26-week fast track project at the end of April. The project team also includes SRA Architects, structural engineer Eastwood & Partners and project manager Synergy.
The scheme involves the redevelopment of a former Citroen garage on a one-hectare site on Hadfield Road in Cardiff. The existing workshop will be refurbished and the current showroom demolished to make way for a new build Jaguar Land Rover 18-car display area with customer handover bays for both brands, service drive-in and valeting facilities.
This will be the third Jaguar Land Rover showrooms to be built by APP Construction. Earlier this month a new £5m Swansway Jaguar Centre opened in Crewe, and the contractor is currently on site for Land Rover in Pickering, North Yorkshire, building a £3m showroom and service centre, which is due to open in August.
APP Construction director John White said: "We're delighted to be continuing our association with the UK's biggest car maker Jaguar Land Rover and look forward to the speedy delivery of this latest project in Wales."
