The farm is already home to chickens, geese, ducks and goats, and is used as a cross-curricular project for the pupils, responding to their social and emotional needs, as well as giving them the responsibility of caring for animals.
Apollo is carrying out refurbishment work on empty properties for Greenwich Council, and forged links with the school, having carried out a talk on the danger of playing near building sites.
Head teacher, Linda Cohen, said: “The pigs are a very welcome and popular addition to the De Lucy farm stock.”
