The Welsh government has published a contract notice for the A40 Llanddewi Velfrey to Penblewin Improvements. The contract value is expected to in the region of £55m to £60m.
The selected contractor will carry out the design and construction of a 5km bypass comprising a 2.5km length of carriageway to the north of the village of Llanddewi Velfrey and a 2.5km section of bypass to the west of Ffynnon Wood, where the bypass will rejoin the existing trunk road at Penblewin Rounabout.
