Danny Murray joins ISG as northern regional managing director from Kier, where he was operations director, major projects.
Before joining Kier in 2012, he was a regional managing director of Morgan Sindall and Morgan Ashurst. However he spent the largest part of his career – 20 years – with John Mowlem.
ISG’s Northern region is currently delivering one of the company’s single largest construction projects – the £66m Exhibition Centre Liverpool and hotel development, with a number of leisure schemes also soon to be announced. ISG is also active in the region on numerous public sector frameworks.
“ISG has a strong presence in the north of England,” Mr Murray said, “and I’m delighted to be joining an organisation entrusted to deliver so many high-profile and regionally significant projects. There is great strength and depth of experience within the business and I’m looking forward to working closely with my talented colleagues to grow and further strengthen ISG’s northern region.”
