The LG 1750, introduced in 2004 and rated at 750t capacity, remains the biggest road-going lattice boom crane on the market.
With a new and even more powerful boom system, designated the SL12D2FB, the LG 1750 can now erect the new large types of wind turbines with tower heights of 150m.
The new system is derived from the SL9D2FB boom, a main boom with a fixed jib and derrick system. Thanks to the use of three strong 12m lattice sections with a width of 3.5m instead of 3.0m in the lower area of the main boom, and the extension of the fixed jib, both the lifting capacity and the height under hook have been boosted on the new SL12 system. The LG 1750 can now lift 141t to a height under hook of 143m and 97t at 160m height.
