Parkway already offers a range of plant, including Takeuchi mini excavators, tracked dumpers and hydraulic breakers, Bomag compaction equipment, NC Engineering Dumpers and Dieci telehandlers. It previously also represented JLG for telehandlers.
Parkway Plant Sales now becomes the Merlo UK main dealer for telehandler products in the Manchester area. Sales director Ian Wood said; “We are delighted to be able to add the Merlo brand to our portfolio, which already consists of the market leading brands of mini excavators, rollers and tracked dumpers.”
Parkway’s head office, in Bredbury, Stockport, is home to the majority of service engineers, with locally based engineers in Lowton near Warrington and Four Ashes near Wolverhampton. Lowton also houses the sales and parts divisions.
Merlo UK general sales manager Glyn Stanton said: “Parkway were Merlo dealers some time ago, and have retained a lot of product knowledge and skills. They have an enviable reputation for service and parts support with their current products, and we look forward to a bright future together.”
