Kobelco’s Generation 10 series is the Japanese manufacturer’s first to comply with EU Stage 4 exhaust emissions regulations.
Two models will be available, the SK210LC-9 and the SK210LC-10, with operating weights of 20 tonnes to 35 tonnes.
In H-mode (heavy), work volume increases by 6.7% compared to the previous Generation 9 equivalent, for the same level of fuel consumption. In S- (normal) and Eco-modes fuel consumption is reduced by 6.1%.
New features include new operator accessible diagnostics via the cabin monitor assist to ensure work continuity. There are on-screen and audible warnings for hydraulic oil temperature and clogged oil filter, for example.
The cab controls have been redesigned to have a lighter feel and there is a new ‘lock’ lever and control lever box.
