II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Marine Scotland has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of Refit of MPV Jura, Minna & Hirta over 24 month period.
The refit specification provided will highlight the actual requirements. These are either annual refit requirements, planned or periodic maintenance. The costs of these should be stipulated for each vessel.
It is anticipated that there will be a small amount of additional tasks required which have not been contracted for within this list. A request will be made to tenderers to stipulated their labour rate for additional work. Prior to each refit, a list of tasks will be agreed which will be contracted tasks plus the uncontracted tasks. The supplier will be asked to define the time to undertake such uncontracted tasks which can then be multiplied by their agreed labour rate to form an agreed cost.
