The company’s 2012 UK Graduate Scheme intake reflects a 20% growth in net revenue for the year to 30 April 2012.
Each applicant had to go through face-to-face meetings with company directors and senior consultants and had to give presentations on a chosen sector.
For the eight graduates joining the nuclear programme in the Manchester office, they will also be embarking on the first of Turner & Townsend’s new four-week Project Controls training course.
Turner & Townsend UK managing director Steve McGuckin said: “Our annual graduate scheme searches to find the very best of the UK’s young talent and we look forward to nurturing these new recruits as they advance through their careers with us.
“The past year has been an exceptional one for Turner & Townsend and we are delighted to have been able to increase our graduate intake as a result of this rapid growth. We see investing in graduates as an investment in our future.”
Applications for the 2013 Graduate Scheme will be opening in the next few weeks, the firm said.
