WYFRS are looking to purchase a Multi-Role Helmet and Multi-Role Boots to enhance the PPE capability of its operational Firefighters. The PPE required is to help WYFRS deal with the changing operational environment.The awarded contract will be open for use by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Humberside Fire and Rescue Service. At this stage, only WYFRS are committed to purchasing Multi-Role Helmets and Boots. Call-off orders by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Humberside Fire and Rescue Service may occur during the term of the contract but no guarantee is given.
