Job Description
McGinley are looking for a Civil Engineer with 5 years experience for a long term contract lasting until mid 2026 on a 12 month rolling contract basis.
This will be working for a Global construction company and the role will be based out of Carlisle.
This is an inside IR35 role, the daily rate range is £300 - £400 a day depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Minimum of 5 years experience of providing engineering support to civils engineering operations.
- Sound technical knowledge of in-situ reinforced concrete structures, groundworks and steel buildings.
- Reviewing construction drawings for completeness, buildability, safety risks
- Use of electronic document management systems
- Able to plan and programme works
- Puts safety at the front of all decisions
- Able to effectively supervise the work and mentor site and section engineers.
- the successful candidates need a track record of working for large contracting companies.
