SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR VACANCY - WORK FROM HOME Stafford Lawrence is seeking to recruit for a Senior Cost Consultant Or Senior Quantity Surveyor for a job vacancy for a small Cost Consultancy for their Plymouth office. This is a great vacancy with great flexibility for home and office working and is due to a huge project award. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveying/Cost Consultancy professional with experience of Civil or Infrastructure projects. This position offers very flexible hybrid home and office working for the right person. Ideally they are looking for a consultant who can oversee the contractor on a large contract for a well known client. UK Nationals or those with a current right to live and work in the UK. REQUIREMENTS Professional Status-MRICS – Chartered Status is a preferred requirement for this senior level role. Our client will consider candidates who are currently working towards APC. Qualifications -A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Background – In addition, experience with a Cost Consultancy organisation in the UK. Sector Experience -Our client is seeking a candidate who ideally has , Engineering, Civils Infrastructure or Telecoms experience. If you don’t have that experience, do not be put off. Our client is happy to talk to people who are confident overseeing the main contractor, someone who has the ability to manage their own workload and can potentially help develop their business in the area. General Experience -The ability to manage your own projects and clients and work as part of a team. Some experience of mentoring less experienced members of the team Reporting– The role will report to the Owner of the business. SALARY & BENEFITS This is a permanent full time position based in the Plymouth area with office and home working Salary Package – Negotiable for the right person, there is some flexibility around the banding provided by our client of £50,000- 58,000 p.a In addition: Pension- Company Pension Scheme Other Benefits: Paid professional subscription, holiday allowance, home working available for this role
