Cestria took over 4,300 homes from Chester-le-Street District Council in February 2008 and conducted a full stock survey the following year to see what was needed to bring the homes up to a decent standard.
As contactor, FHM will repair or renew roofs, chimneys and flashings, and external walls (including render repairs). It will also replace fascias, soffits, gutters and downpipes, and paint external walls.
The contract is for an initial three year term but may be extended by a further year.
