Up to 40 contractors are sought to join a framework predicted to be worth £150m a year for four years.
The contract is being managed by the Swaythling Housing Society acting as the central purchasing body on behalf of the Radian Group. Radian comprises:
- Drum Housing Association
- Longwood Park
- The Swaythling Housing Society
- Turnstone Support
- Windsor and District Housing Association
- Portal Housing.
Work is likely to be spread across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.
Requirements includes mainly the provision of new homes of varying accommodation types. Some schemes may involve the procurement of commercial and retail facilities, health and community centres, religious and educational establishments and have links with schools.
