A Carillion team has reached financial close on the construction contract for the £370m Wolverhampton Building Schools for the Future programme.
The Carillion-led Local Education Partnership, which also consists of Wolverhampton City Council and Building Schools for the Future Investments, will deliver 26 schools in five phases over the next four years.
The first phase will see two secondary schools and two Special Educational Needs schools built.
The remaining 22 schools will be delivered in four further phases.
