An engineer has fallen 20m to his death while inspecting a railway viaduct in Scotland.
The accident happened on Tuesday morning, when a “cherry picker” vehicle toppled over at Stewarton, East Ayrshire, according to the Glasgow Evening Times.
The 47-year-old, who has not been named, died at the scene.
He was working as a contractor for Network Rail, and is thought to have been employed by Glasgow contractors SW Global.
