Morgan Sindall social housing subsidiary Lovell Partnerships has been awarded a £28m construction and maintenance deal by Gloucester City Homes.
The partnering contract covers: responsive repairs and maintenance, voids, out of hours call, cyclical maintenance, Decent Homes (primarily rewiring and electrical upgrades, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, asbestos testing and removal, repairs and improvements to paths, minor aids and adaptations, drain and gulley clearance, and improvements to sheltered schemes.
The contract will run for an initial five years, with the option to extend by a further two.
Lovell saw off six other bidders to clinch the contract.
