Mansell has been awarded an £8m contract, under an ongoing framework agreement, to deliver a state-of-the-art Film, Theatre and Television building for the University of Reading.
The new building will include three theatres, two licensed for public performances, a seventy seat screening auditorium, a television and film production studio and control gallery, audio and video editing facilities, workshops, offices and a central atrium space for informal rehearsal and group work.
This educational facility is for screen and performance teaching and will support academic training in practical and theoretical aspects of film, theatre and television.
The project has just commenced on site and completion is expected for February 2011.
