Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Authority has announced plans for a £135m privately-financed fire stations project.
The PFI contract will cover the design, construction, financing, and operation of 10 new fire stations.
The appointed contractor will be required to provide building and facilities management, IT, security, janitorial, cleaning and grounds maintenance services.
The scope of the project is yet to be fixed and could be extended in both construction and facilities management.
The scheme is expected to be procured through the traditional PFI method.
The clients will hold a bidders open day on 12 April.
