The London Borough of Tower Hamlets has awarded £24.5m worth of construction work through four framework contracts.
The first framework covers concrete repairs, plus application of decorative or protective coatings, and ancillary works. It is worth £8m.
The contractors chosen are: Alfred Bagnall; Connaught; Mulalley.
The second framework is for the renewal, upgrade, refurbishment and installation of windows and doors, plus ancillary works. It is valued at £8m.
The successful bidders are: Anglian Building Products; Homesafe Lindman; Sovereign.
The third framework involves repairs or renewal of flat roofs, along with asphalt repairs and renewals to public walkways and private balconies. It is worth £5m.
The firms selected are: Amber Construction Services; Asphaltic;
Breyer.
The fourth framework covers asbestos removal or encapsulation of asbestos containing materials, internal and external, in domestic and non-domestic areas. It is valued at £3.5m.
The contractors chosen are: Erith; K & K Industrial Services; Woods Building Services.
