As part of a European initiative by Volvo Construction Equipment to launch a Road Institute training programme to offer training to paving contractors, Volvo UK has gone one step further and achieved accreditation with The National Skills Academy for Materials, Production and Supply.
Volvo says it is the first plant supplier to get this accreditation.
The training courses have been designed to improve the knowledge and understanding of paving techniques using both classroom theory and practical work,operating Volvo road equipment. The two and a half day course takes place at Volvo’s customer support centre at Immingham.
