Aecom lands HK scheme

3 May 11 Aecom has announced a new contract for the design and construction management of of road and border control project in Hong Kong.

Client for the Liantang-Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point (BCP) is Hong Kong’s Civil Engineering & Development Department.

AECOM's fees are approximately US$13m (£7.8m) for its services on the project, which involves an 11km dual-lane trunk road between Hong Kong's northeastern New Territories and the Luohu district of Shenzhen on mainland China. The scheme also includes site formation and infrastructure works for the development of the new facilities within an area of about 57 acres.  

The project is slated for commissioning no later than 2018.
