Matt Scott joined AFI a year ago as marketing manager and now becomes group marketing director. He has previously worked in marketing for Yale, Komatsu, British Gypsum and Balfour Beatty.
Chris Jowett has joined the board as group IT director, with a promotion from IT manager. He joined AFI as financial controller seven years ago.
AFI chairman David Shipman said: “We are delighted to welcome Matt and Chris to the board during this exciting period of AFI’s development.”
AFI increased the size of its business by more than 50% in 2013 following an £85m refinancing that led to the simultaneous acquisitions of access platform hire companies Hi-Reach in the UK and Access Rental Gulf in the Middle East. AFI also acquired the truck and track mount hire company Wilson Access Hire.
