Amey’s parent company, Spanish construction group Ferrovial, agreed the £385m purchase of Enterprise from venture capital group 3i in February.

Despite Enterprise bringing with it 9,600 people, there is only room for one of them at the top table in the newly enlarged Amey. Dan Holland, managing director of the utilities division of Enterprise, now becomes managing director of the utilities & defence at Amey.

He is the only Enterprise representative in Amey’s 12-strong executive team.

Enterprise chief executive Ian Fraser, who joined from Kwik Fit in November 2011, has left the business.

The full Amey management team is:

  • Mel Ewell, chief executive
  • Andrew Nelson, Chief Finance Officer
  • Nick Gregg, Managing Director, Government
  • Gillian Duggan, Managing Director, Built Environment
  • Andy Milner, Managing Director, Rail and Consulting
  • Dan Holland, Managing Director, Utilities and Defence (Enterprise)
  • Darryl Salmons, Chief Information Officer
  • Valerie Hughes-D’Aeth, Group HR and Communications Director
  • Wayne Robertson, Group Legal Director
  • Keith Sexton, Group HSEA Director
  • Andres Camacho, Integration Director
  • John Faulkner, Strategy Director

In a statement, Amey said: “We will now begin a dedicated process of integrating Enterprise into Amey, while remaining focused on delivering a smooth transition for customers; ensuring service continuity and maintaining operational excellence throughout.”
