Apollo develops its Scotland operation

14 Feb 11 Apollo has continued to grow its presence across Scotland with a number of new contracts recently secured.

The Scotland team, based in Apollo’s Glasgow office, will soon commence work to upgrade fire doors on sheltered housing complexes across Scotland for Hanover (Scotland); to carry out external wall insulation and render to housing stock for both the Highland Council in Inverness, and West Dunbartonshire Council in Alexandria; and on a structural repairs contract for Aberdeen City Council.

These new projects, alongside Apollo’s existing work in Scotland, and projects secured last year, demonstrate that Apollo is gaining an increasingly strong foothold in the region.

Strengthening the team to support this growth, the company hasrecruited a number of new staff, including additional customer service, operational and commercial staff and two new apprentices in Renfrewshire.

Regional Director, Eamonn McGarvey, said:  “We are delighted to be able to report this growth in our business across Scotland, and to be working for new clients, as well as winning repeat work with existing ones.

“It is thanks to our committed and enthusiastic team that our reputation is growing across the region and that our clients are confident in awarding work to Apollo.  We are all looking forward to progressing these projects and to continuing to develop an increasingly strong presence in Scotland.”
