Apollo takes £7.1m Renfrewshire contracts

10 Jan 12 Apollo has been awarded new contracts totalling £7.1m by Renfrewshire Council.

Starting in February, Apollo will deliver a project valued at £5.5m to carry out roofing and render refurbishment works on two-storey properties across Paisley. The project is expected to run for 55 weeks.

Apollo has also been awarded five contracts, totalling £1.6m to carry out roofing and external repair works to five primary schools in the Erskine and Paisley areas. These contracts are also due to start in the early part of this year.

Regional director Eamonn McGarvey said:  “That we continue to win additional important contracts with the council reflects the high regard in which Apollo is held in the area for both our standard of work and service we can deliver.  We’re looking forward to commencing these projects in the new year and to continuing to make our mark in the local community.”

With recently opened offices in Peterborough, Yeovil, Glasgow, Wales, Tamworth and Sheffield, Appollo’s forward order book now stands at approximately £1 billion.
