Apollo’s Midlands operation spreads its wings

14 Jan 11 Following a number of new contracts won over the past few weeks, Apollo has strengthened its presence in its Midlands region.

Recent project wins for the Midlands team include a £20m five year partnership to carry out planned and preventative maintenance work for Cambridge City Council and a £6.5m four year partnership with Shropshire Council.  Moving across the region, a £1m refurbishment project for Midland Heart HA in Birmingham and a re-roofing scheme for North West Leicestershire District Council add to the positive picture.

These recent successes follow a number of other contracts secured last year, including kitchen replacement projects for both Bolsover District Council and Granta Housing Society; the ‘eco’ Green House project for Huntingdonshire District Council; remodelling works for Corby Borough Council and a renewal of our partnership with Milton Keynes Council.

Regional director Dan Germann said:  “Some eight months after the opening of the Tamworth office, it is great to be able to report that we now have work across so many different parts of the Midlands region, from East over to the West, and stretching down as far as Milton Keynes in the south.  The team has worked extremely hard to achieve these important wins and we are continuing to build on this success to develop an increasingly strong Midlands foothold for Apollo.”
