AZUR SOLAR Systems Ltd has just opened its brand new UK head office, visitor and distribution centre in Slough, Berkshire (245 Buckingham Avenue) as part of its ambitious expansion programme to bring affordable and efficient solar energy production to both commercial and domestic customers.
A subsidiary of AZUR SOLAR GmbH, a market leading innovator and manufacturer of photovoltaic solar panels and associated components to installers, dealers and distributor partners, the UK operation has been operating since 2005. However in October 2010, due to favourable business opportunities in the UK, significant investment has been made here, with new premises and the appointment of over 20 new full time sales and project managers.

In 2011 AZUR SOLAR’s Systems team will also deliver a number of large turnkey solutions to be installed on commercial property roofs. These typically are aimed at industrial and commercial users looking for a medium to large scale solution that will cost effectively deliver ‘reduced price’ power for years to come. The package includes technical planning, complete project financing and equipment procurement, with installation delivered in partnership with AZUR SOLAR accredited installation partners.
AZUR SOLAR’s Distribution team is looking to expand its network of accredited installation and distribution partners across the UK and will then supply kits, modules, components and mounting systems, through to complete installation kits for them to market to their customers. These provide cost effective installation opportunities that meet a growing energy requirements of smaller ‘domestic’ users. AZUR SOLAR power kits are a complete, efficient and easy to install solution that has been created specifically for British homes. The kits are delivered in a single consignment to site and are offered in multiple variants, each one containing between six and 18 highly efficient panel modules (each measuring 1655x992mm) plus all the necessary components from the generation meter and inverter through to the roof mounting rails, solar cables and even all the screws needed.
