The contract is for the construction of a new public space on the Broadway and in Meridian Square. The scheme involves highway works, including new hard and soft landscape, new street furniture and several bespoke elements such as natural stone benches and detailed paving patterns.
The contract is part of wider improvements to the area by the council, which will include some sculptures and a public art screen but this is not part of Bardon’s work.
