Aéroports de Paris Management, Bouygues Bâtiment International and Viadukt together make up the project company Zagreb Airport International Company (Zaic).
The concession contract includes financing, designing and construction of a passenger terminal to replace the current one and operating the entire airport for 30 years.
The concession involves a total investment of €324m (£263m): €236m for the design and construction of the new terminal and €88m for the life cycle of the airport infrastructure for the entire period of the concession.
The construction work, lasting three years, will be carried out by Bouygues Bâtiment International in conjunction with Viadukt and other Croatian contractors. When completed, the new terminal will be capable of handling five million passengers annually, compared to the current terminal’s capacity of two million.
Aéroports de Paris Management will be responsible for operating and maintaining the airport.
