Builders wanted for four Lambeth schools

10 Feb 11 Initial bids are invited for contracts to build four primary schools in the London borough of Lambeth. Estimated total value is in the region of £27m to £41m.

Contractors can bid for one or more of the schools.

The schools are:

Fenstanton School: The construction or design and construction of a 3-form entry primary school plus nursery, the construction of a 6-form entry secondary school with 6th form and associated enabling and external works.
Hitherfield Primary School: Construction or design and construction of an extension and refurbishment of existing school to allow for 3-form entry and associated enabling and external works.
The New Norwood School (Julians): Construction or design and construction of the extension and refurbishment of an existing building to provide a new 2FE primary school plus nursery in the West Norwood area of Lambeth.
Sunnyhill Primary School: The construction or design and construction of a new block and refurbishment works to allow a 3-form entry and any associated enabling and external works.
