Buteline helps installers increase profits

21 Mar 11 As a result of shifting market trends coupled with the need to keep project costs down, Buteline has introduced a series of promotional offers to help installers increase their productivity and improve their profit margins.

For the installer, the key to ensuring financial success is by using a product or system that is proven to work whilst keeping initial buying costs to a minimum. As a result, Buteline has recently introduced a ‘Buy Two Get One Free’ offer on its polybutene pipe, with further promotions in the pipeline, helping the installer to get more for their money whilst increasing their overall profit margin.

In turn, the current promotion has reduced the price of Buteline’s polybutene pipe by one third, placing the price of its 16mm polybutene pipe generally below the £1 per metre mark. For the installer, this is particularly attractive due to the ability to price jobs in accordance to the reduction in price, helping them to make a substantial profit. This point alone is of prominent importance given the rising cost of copper, which is making it increasingly difficult for installers to make a return on their initial investment.

Add to this Buteline’s 25 year guarantee the installer is provided with complete peace of mind that once installed, the system will never leak or come apart due to the unique way in which the system itself is fitted. Buteline’s polybutene pipe is inserted into a one piece fitting before a simple to operate clamp tool is used to fix the two parts together using six tonnes of controlled pressure to the exterior of the fitting.

Gary Fisher, General Manager for Buteline UK, commented: “The introduction of this one off promotional pricing strategy places Buteline as an incredibly attractive alternative to other systems on the market, at a time when Copper installers are avidly looking for cheaper plumbing solutions that provide the joint security they desire. So if you have ever considered using the Buteline system, there has never been a better time to try it out due to lowered costs involved. Considering the rising cost of copper, the current promotion can significantly help to reduce the installer’s initial outlay helping them to capitalise on a wider profit margin as a result.”
