The certification recognises the company’s commitment to quality management systems used in the production and supply of aggregates to its customers and to continuous improvement procedures.
For customers this measure will enhance their confidence in the high quality of CEMEX’s products and services. They now have tangible evidence that all of our quarries supply high quality products and we endeavour to offer the highest quality service.”
Certification was awarded by CPC (Construction Products Certification), a government approved body following a series of independent audits at a number of quarries in the final quarter of 2010. Other business areas of CEMEX UK Cement, Asphalt, Readymix and Building Products, have also achieved this standard.
