Change of hands for Dwidag

20 Jun 11 Private equity house Triton is now the owner of Dwidag-Systems International (DSI), which it has bought from Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Barclays Capital.

DSI chairman and CEO Alan Bate said: “The new owner is both interested and dedicated to the success of DSI. It is also clear from customers, suppliers and partners that our new found ownership and financial stability is welcomed. We also see this manifest in new approaches to work with DSI on projects and programmes.”

Civil engineering and underground construction systems suppliler DSI is headquartered in Munich and has approximately 2,100 employees at over 70 locations globally. Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Barclays Capital took over DSI in 2010 from CVC Capital Partners. DSI management said that it has been closely involved in the process and is fully supportive of the outcome.
