The work for Circle Housing Group will be broken up over several regions and projects in London, the southeast and East Anglia with projects ranging in value from under £1m to more than £10m. The total value could potentially reach up to £1bn, Cicle said.
Contractors have until 15 April to complete prequalification questionnaires.
Circle operations director Andy Doylend said: “We’re expanding our framework of contractors as we look ahead to new development and refurbishment opportunities at Circle Housing Group over the next four years. It’s really important to us to have a range of large and small contractors that we can work with, and we’re particularly keen to hear from local contractors.”
Circle is one of the UK’s largest providers of affordable housing, with 65,000 homes among its partners. Partners include South Anglia Housing, Wherry Housing Association, Old Ford Housing Association, Circle 33 Housing Trust, Merton Priory Homes, Mole Valley Housing Association, Mercian Housing Association, Roddons Housing Association and Russet Homes.
