Awards for international trade go to consulting engineers Haskoning UK, High-Point Rendel and Hyder Consulting, and to Suffolk-based Plant Parts, which s supplies spare parts for construction machinery.
Haskoning UK has nearly doubled its overseas earnings over the past three years, Hyder Consulting has grown its overseas income by 69% over three years, and High-Point Rendel has grown its overseas sales by 134% over six years.
There was also an award for sustainable development for Wates Group and an innovation award to Harvard Engineering for developing systems to control street-lighting.
