The business, which has sustained steady growth in the UK despite dire conditions in the property industry, has established the overseas operations after securing a number of substantial contracts.

JPG is collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering business Silcock Leadham which is already operating in Qatar and Libya.

JPG International LCC has also been established in Oman offering civil and structural consultancy services. The venture is sponsored by International Consolidated Engineering (ICE) and mechanical and electrical consultancy services are also provided via a partnering agreement with Silcock Leedham.

“There are tremendous opportunities emerging in the Middle East and North Africa and we have been able to match the criteria and expertise required in providing new infrastructure for growth areas such as rail, airport and education campuses,” said JPG director Chris Harding. “We look forward to developing our business in these markets and developing our international status.”

JPG was established in 1988 by joint managing partners Chris Harding and Gary Howarth and employs a team of 30.
