The scheme for Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group involves the development of a 10.5ha mixed-use development accommodating more than 13m sq ft of commercial and residential space.
Related and Oxford have also reached an agreement with Aecom subsidiary Tishman Construction to serve as their building partner.
Hudson Yards is in Midtown Manhattan. Tutor Perini has also been retained for the construction of a residential tower being developed just south of the Hudson Yards on 30th Street and 10th Avenue in New York City.
The masterplan for Hudson Yards covers approximately 5,000 residences, 6m sq ft of of commercial office space, a 1m sq ft destination retail centre, a five-star hotel, a cultural space and a new school, all planned around 5.7ha of public open space.
Construction operations are scheduled to begin in the middle of this year.
