The Watts Grove affordable housing development in London E3 involves the demolition of existing structures on council-owned land and the construction of a new housing estate.
A PFI-type solution is being considered for funding the project. The selected developer is also likely to be responsible for managing the housing after construction for up to 25 years through a registered social landlord.
