MST, which has two depots in Devon, is now offering Kubota mini-excavators to the construction sector.
MST construction specialist Robin Wearn, who is heading up the revived division, said: “Confidence is definitely returning to the construction industry, particularly in the southwest as more and more projects get off the ground. MST recognised this, seeing a massive opportunity for growth in this sector.
“As an authorised Kubota dealer on the agricultural side of our business, and knowing the brand’s reputation for construction equipment, we decided to work in partnership with them to help us achieve this.
“The good news is that the response from the contracting and plant hire sector in this region to date has been fantastic, with 14 machines sold already.”
