The schemes will create 162 homes for affordable rent, shared ownership (through the Lovell Choice shared ownership scheme) and for open market sale.
Lovell will build 123 properties on land at Six Streets, Hyde Park, Doncaster, and 39 homes at Kirby Street, Mexborough. Work is set to start this month with the Six Streets scheme to be completed in 2015 and the Mexborough development due to be finished in 2013.
All the homes are designed to be energy-efficient, with solar panels to help them to meet Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
