The development will provide 32 new homes for open market sale and 29 affordable homes for Forth Housing Association.
Work is due to be complete in August 2013.
Mansell said that there had been ‘strong’ interest in the open market sale units and off-plan reservations had already been taken prior to the opening of the showhome in the spring.
