Financing agreements for the loan were signed last week in the presence of Egypt’s ministers for transport and international cooperation.
The project is part of Greater Cairo’s Transport master plan and involves the design, construction and commissioning of Phase 3 of Line 3 of the city’s metro system, civil works, rolling stock and a new stabling area.
