Eiffage to expand Gabon National Assembly

7 Jan 14 Eiffage Construction has secured an €80m (£68m) contract for the design and construction of an annex to the Gabon National Assembly in Libreville.

The 27-month project comprises two 10-storey buildings, which will contain 482 offices. It also includes a conference room and more than 300 surface parking spaces, with a total area of 30,340m2.

This project is in line with Eiffage’s international development strategy targeting, in particular, the African continent. The group handed over the future Dakar motorway in Senegal in August 2013 and is currently carrying out earthworks at the container terminal at the port of Lomé in Togo and work on two power transmission lines in Senegal.
