The AC 80-2 has a maximum load moment of 255 tonne-metres and a maximum lifting capacity of 80t. According to Terex, it is the most compact four-axle machine in its category. It complies with STGO roading regulations with 18t of counterweight and a 17m boom extension stowed on board.
