Expansion for Mobile Mini

23 Feb 16 Hire company Mobile Mini has invested £14m on expanding its fleet of site huts and storage containers.

The UK division of the US-owned company generated revenues of £57.6m for 2015, a 9.5% increase on 2014, and is now planning further growth.

The company added almost 3,000 units to its fleet of steel storage containers, portable offices, canteens and toilets, growing its fleet to more than 35,000, operated across sixteen UK depots from Glasgow to Southampton.

It also invested £2.5m in delivery trucks and this plans to invest a further £3.7m in eight new lorries fitted with folding loader cranes. This will take is delivery truck fleet to 50. 

Managing director Chris Morgan said: “We’re determined to maintain our market leading position by continuing to invest in growing and refurbishing our fleet, as well as in our talented team of people.”
