Forrest flows with multi-million pound riverside agreement

31 Mar 11 Forrest, the Preston-headquartered regeneration specialist, has secured a place within a multi-million pound development framework.

The Riverside Partnership – a consortium of more than 10 different housing associations from the North of England – has awarded Forrest a place within its traditional build and timber framed construction programmes.

Under the agreement Forrest, which provides regeneration, refurbishment and responsive maintenance services, will be able to tender for all works worth up to £3 million and above.

The framework covers projects across Manchester, East Cheshire, West Cheshire and Merseyside.

The deal comes at a time of continuing success for Forrest, following the announcement of an 11.5 per cent increase in sales in the last financial year and hot on the heels of further framework wins.

Earlier this month, Forrest announced that it had secured a place on the North West Construction Hub’s Low Value four-year framework after winning a place on its Medium Value framework last summer.

Both Hub frameworks are accessible to all local authorities and public sector organisations in the North West for construct-only works worth between £150,000 and £4.5 million.

Mark Lyons, managing director at Forrest, said: “Collaborating under framework agreements to help achieve higher standards and efficiency from their supply chains.

“Our partnership-led approach coupled with a focus on engaging with communities we serve makes us ideally placed to help the Riverside Partnership to create and support quality housing.”

The Riverside Partnership includes The Riverside Group Limited, The Vicinity Group – including Liverpool Housing Group, Cobalt, Beechwood Ballantyne, Atrium and Ribble Valley Homes - The Regenda Group, Progress Housing, Venture Housing Association , Contour Housing Group and Twin Valley Homes.
