This is the second project awarded to GB by Signature in the past two months. The new care development will provide 79 suites, 16 of which are specifically designed for dementia care. The new development is built over three storeys with a basement car park and will have such facilities as a restaurant, café, hair salon, lounges and entertainment rooms.
The project, designed to BREEAM 'Very Good' standards, will include low carbon technologies such as gas absorption air source heat pumps.
Work is due for completion in spring 2014.
