The list includes €100m (£84m) for planned rail infrastructure, €600m for federal highways and €300m on federal waterways. The programme will be implemented within two years.
The modernisation of the railway infrastructure focuses on 130 smaller and medium-sized stations that already have plans in place. This will enable rapid implementaton of the measures, which include platform upgrades and improvements to equipment.
