The contract has also recently been extended to deliver a further £1 million worth of sanitaryware over the same period.
The past year has seen Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) officially undertake the ownership and management of all the council’s houses and with this has come a significant revamp across all sectors of the business.
The supply chain has been a particular focus, as PCH embarks on its modernisation pledges. Several external contractors have now been brought on board, including Graham as a key material supplier, who will help deliver a programme of new kitchens, bathrooms and upgraded heating systems. All products Graham supplies will be sustainably and ethically sourced and will come from the local Graham distribution centre.
PCH fits approximately 17 home heating packs per week, which will require Graham to supply thousands of copper fittings and hundreds of metres of copper tubing, throughout the course of the contract. Additionally, the new partnership sees Graham ensure PCH’s in house maintenance team, as well as the many sub-contracted builders, are kept fully equipped from Graham’s own range of tools and every day supplies.
